The Choices Application for the 2026–2027 school year will be open from October 1 to November 14, 2025. During this time, families can apply for Magnet programs, Dual Language programs, Affiliated Charters, and other school options offered by LAUSD.
- Markham Middle School is proud to offer two magnet programs: Health Careers Magnet and Visual & Performing Arts Magnet that provide students with unique learning opportunities designed to spark curiosity, build critical skills, and prepare them for future success. Our magnet programs are open through the LAUSD Choices Application, giving families the chance to select a program that best supports their child’s interests and talents.
- We encourage all 8th grade families to apply within the on-time application window to make sure their child is considered for their high school program of choice.
